Namrata Shirodkar wished her daughter Sitara a happy birthday

Mumbai: Actress Namrata Shirodkar penned a lovely birthday note for her daughter, Sitara, as the latter celebrated her special day on July 20. The actress remarked that watching her little girl grow up has been the “greatest blessing of her life.”
Taking to her social media account, Namrata shared a beautiful picture of Sitara standing beneath a tree with deep burgundy-hued leaves on a lush green lawn. The birthday girl was seen wearing a sleeveless jacket over a black top, a printed skirt, and sneakers.
Along with the photo, the doting mother wrote, “My beautiful daughter… thank you for filling our lives with so much love and happiness. Watching you grow up is the greatest blessing for me. Happy Birthday! Love you so much…”
For context, Sitara Ghattamaneni was born on July 20, 2012, to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar. She is the younger sister of Gautam Krishna, who was born in 2006.
As for Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, the couple tied the knot on February 10, 2005. They fell in love while shooting for the Telugu film Vamsi in 2000.
Over the years, Mahesh Babu has mentioned in various interviews that, prior to their marriage, he had expressed a wish for Namrata to quit acting and focus on their family. Namrata has also spoken about this decision, stating that she was happy to embrace family life and has no regrets about leaving films at the peak of her career.
Before her marriage, Namrata was one of the prominent Bollywood actresses of the late 1990s and early 2000s. After winning the Miss India Universe title in 1993, she acted in several notable films, including Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Kachche Dhaage, Vaastav, Pukar, Astitva, Aagaaz, Albela, Tera Mera Saath Rahen, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, LOC Kargil, and Bride and Prejudice. She also worked in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films, playing a significant role in Vamsi. She is the younger sister of actress Shilpa Shirodkar.
