Nakul’s life became happy due to PM’s residence

Janjgir-Champa. Now there is no drop of rain in Nakul Yadav’s house, his house is now permanent and his life with his family has become happy. All this became possible by getting a permanent house built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.

Nakul Yadav lives in Gram Panchayat Loharsi, which comes under Pamgarh development block of Janjgir-Champa district. He tells that earlier, when there was water dripping in his house during the rainy season, the family used to face a lot of trouble, it felt as if we all were living in the open sky. There seemed to be some hope in this dreadful life, every drop of water was causing a lot of pain in the heart.

Every day was passing like this, as if we would never be able to get rid of the kutcha house and the leaking roof. Looking at other’s pucca house, he is always in this dilemma thinking that someday the day will come when he too will live a good life with his family in a pucca house like others.

Finally their opportunity came and in the year 2022-23, money was approved from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) to build their houses. After the approval, the first installment was received and the work started. When the dream of building our own house seemed to be coming true, the entire family worked together with full energy.

Gradually, the installment amount started coming into the bank and the house, or rather the biggest need of life, was fulfilled. When the house was completed, the raindrops that were dripping in that mud house got rid of it and the thought of making good plans for the future started coming to mind. Now he is living a happy life with his family and children in his permanent house without any fear.
