Naidu did real estate business with Amaravati

Visakhapatnam: Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao has slammed opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu and questioned his stance on making Visakhapatnam the capital.

Prasad Rao said, “Naidu was more interested in turning Amaravati into a real estate venture rather than focusing on backward areas like northern Andhra.”
Addressing a gathering at the Government Arts College grounds in Srikakulam on Saturday, Prasad Rao highlighted the progress made by the YSRC government in various sectors and urged the public to support the party in the upcoming elections.
The Revenue Minister said the YSRC government has given great importance to the development of the state and refuted the opposition’s claims of no progress under his rule. He informed that the state’s GSDP has improved from 22nd position during the TD regime to 5th position under the YSRC government, and per capita income has increased from 17th position to 9th position.
Prasad Rao also mentioned the construction of four sea ports in the state within five years and the progress made on the Moolapet sea port project in Srikakulam district. He stressed the need for development in Uddanaam and the efforts made by the YSRC government to solve the problems of the area.
The Revenue Minister stressed the need for decentralization of administration and Chief Minister Y.S. praised. Jagan Mohan Reddy for bringing reforms and focusing on education to reduce inequalities in the society.
He urged people to vote for YSRC in the upcoming elections and promised that Visakhapatnam would be made the administrative capital if the party forms the government.
