Naga Chaitanya calls divorce unfortunate, rubbishes dating rumours

Mumbai: Actor Naga Chaitanya is in the headlines once again. The actor, who was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is all set to settle down once again with a new ladylove. There have been rumours doing the rounds for a while now that Naga Chaitanya is dating Sobhita Dhulipala and the couple is yet to make it official. However, that is about to change. The latest reports about the two suggest that Chaitanya and Sobhita are all set to make their relationship official with a formal engagement ceremony at Chaitanya’s Hyderabad residence. It is also being said that Chaitanya’s father, veteran superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni is very excited about the engagement and he is personally keeping an eye on all the arrangements.

On the verge of starting a new chapter in life

While Naga is moving on in life and is on the verge of starting a new chapter in his life, we go back to the time when he had just come out of his divorce with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In his interview at the time, he had called whatever happened in his personal life and marriage an ‘unfortunate’ incident. He also said that though it was not an incident that anyone should have to go through, he added that he has a lot of respect for that difficult phase in her life. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu announced their separation after four years of marriage. They shared a joint statement on Instagram on October 2, 2021. Right after this, the two parted ways and got busy with their careers. They did not have a cordial relationship after the divorce, as is common among celeb couples. At the time, the two were under constant scrutiny and their dating history, love life, past linkups and marriage were all being analysed.

This has hurt me a lot.” He had also said that he was upset that there were rumours of him dating someone and a third person was being dragged into it.
