My character in ‘Nath Jewar Ya Zanjeer’ is two-in-one: Anupama Solanki
Mumbai (IANS) | Actress Anupama Solanki considers herself lucky to have bagged the show ‘Nath Jewar Ya Zanjeer’. She says that she likes her character, which is funny as well as negative. ‘Nath Jewar Ya Zanjeer’ is taking a leap of 15 years. This time 99 percent of the star cast has changed. Actually, this show is becoming a new show and they have changed the name of the show as well. It is now known as ‘The story of Nath Krishna and Gauri’.
My character is a mix of Maddam Sir and Bindiya Sarkar. This role is two-in-one, which is negative as well as funny. It is quite new and challenging as compared to negative shade. My character is Kalavati. Chahat Pandey is playing the role of Krishna and my mother Vandana is playing the role of Vithalini.
He said, playing two genres together is like icing on the cake. This is the first time I am playing such a character which has dual characters.
I am not worried about being typecast in a role because last year I did ‘Maddam Sir’ where I played a positive character and before that I played Mohini, who is an avatar of Lord Vishnu. I’m not worried about the type cast.
When asked if she is satisfied with the roles she is getting, she said, “I am completely satisfied with my career as I am doing different roles often.
