Musical promotions of ‘Rakasa’ begin, ‘Rappa’ launched
Entertainment : The makers of Rakaasa have released the film‘s first single, “Rapappa,” kicking off its musical promotions with a peppy and entertaining track. Written and directed by Manasa Sharma, the film is produced by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures and presented by Z Studios.
With its energetic sound and playful tone, “Rapappa” captures the vibrant musical spirit of Rakaasa, presenting heartbreak in a refreshingly humorous way. Lyricist Raghuram has crafted clever rhymes and fun verses filled with punchlines, while Anudeep Dev’s composition keeps the track vibrant and catchy. Ram Miriyala’s distinctive vocal style adds charm and sarcasm to the song, which is visually complemented by JD Master’s energetic choreography.
The release of “Rapappa” comes at a time when anticipation for Rakaasa continues to grow. The film’s title teaser has already garnered 1.9 million views, and the teaser has garnered over 2.7 million views in just five days, piqueing audience anticipation for this folklore-based fantasy and supernatural adventure.
Raakaasa will be released internationally by Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures, screening in over 350 theaters across the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia. North American distribution will be handled by Prathyangira Cinemas. The soundtrack is being released under Saregama, which is further amplifying the musical campaign.
The film, starring Sangeet Sobhan and Nayan Sarika, also stars Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Getup Srinu. With the teaser generating tremendous buzz and the musical excitement of “Rappa,” Raakaasa is set to release in theaters worldwide on April 3, 2026.
