Murderer son arrested from Raipur railway station
Raipur. The police has arrested the son accused of murdering his mother by banging her head on the floor on January 1 in the capital Raipur. The police caught the accused from Raipur railway station early on Wednesday. From here he was planning to run away to another city. The accused had asked his mother for money for drugs on the day of the incident. When he refused to give the money, the accused committed the crime.
During initial investigation, the police also found out that the accused P. Nagesh Rao alias Ankur, after banging the mother’s head on the floor, had covered her face with a steel glass. During investigation, the police found blood spread around the dead body. Apart from the mother, a daughter and a son lived in the house. The son was absconding after the incident. Apart from this, blood stained footprints and vest of the accused were found in the bathroom of the house.
