Murder of a youth who got up to go to the bathroom late at night, three relatives arrested

Bilaspur: During a quarrel, the youth asked for a stick from his uncle. When he refused, the youth quarreled with his uncle. After this, the matter calmed down. At around 2 o’clock in the night, three youths entered the house and beat up the uncle. During this, he was strangled to death. Police have arrested three accused in the case. All three accused are relatives. The accused are being questioned in connection with the incident.

ASP City Umesh Kashyap said that Ramayan Suryavanshi, who lived in Suryavanshi Mohalla of Sakri, used to do daily wage labour. On Sunday night around 8 o’clock, Rajesh Suryavanshi and Yogesh Suryavanshi, who lived in the neighborhood, were quarreling with someone in front of his house. During this, the youths asked for a stick from their uncle Ramayan Suryavanshi. Ramayan refused to give the stick and counseled the quarreling youths.

On this, the youths started quarreling with him. Seeing this, Ramayan’s wife somehow intervened. The woman somehow took her husband inside the house. Around 2 o’clock in the night, Ramayan came out of his house to go to the bathroom. Meanwhile, Rajesh Suryavanshi (35), Yogesh Suryavanshi (23) and their uncle Vedprasad Suryavanshi (50) came there. They started beating Ramayan saying that he did not give them the stick during the dispute. To avoid the fight, he went inside his house. The youth entered the house. There, during the fight, the accused strangled him to death. After this, the attackers fled from there. Meanwhile, the relatives took the injured Ramayan to the hospital. There the doctors declared Ramayan dead and informed the police. As soon as the information about the murder was received, the police team started searching for the attacking youths. After interrogation in the locality, the police have arrested the three accused involved in the case.
