Murder for 200 rupees, Tikrapara police caught the murderer

Raipur. The accused of murder has been arrested. The deceased Bhajan Lal Yadav was standing near Sanjay Nagar Kesari grocery store when the accused Tushar Sahu, a resident of the same locality, came and beat the deceased with his fist and wooden plank when he refused to pay the loan amount of Rs 200, due to which the deceased got injured. The family of the deceased took him to Mekara Hospital for treatment from where he was referred to DKS Super Specialty Hospital where the deceased died during treatment, on which the Golbazar police station registered a zero FIR and handed over the case to Tikrapara police station for further action, on which a numbered FIR number 37/24 section 174 IPC was registered and on the basis of the FIR investigation, a crime number 444/2024 was registered against the accused under section 302, IPC and senior officers were immediately informed about the incident. Tikrapara Raipur investigation team members took the case seriously and immediately reached the spot and collected evidence from the area around the spot and got detailed information about the incident by interrogating the people around and with the help of technical support, collected information about the accused and immediately left for the search of the absconding accused and raided his residence for the arrest of the accused who was absconding since the incident.

When the accused was not found, the team members inquired about the accused from the informers and raided the possible hiding places and surrounded him and brought the accused to the police station and after strict interrogation, the accused told about the incident that on 02.06.2024 at 11:45 pm, he met the deceased at Sanjay Nagar Kesari Grocery Store where he demanded Rs 200/- of the earlier loan amount. When the accused did not give it, he beat him with his fist and wooden plank, due to which the deceased got injured on the head. Due to the critical condition of the deceased, his family members took him to the hospital for treatment, due to which he was told to be absconding since the incident.
