Sultanpur Lodhi: A case of murder of a famous shopkeeper of Sultanpur Lodhi by breaking into his house has come to light. According to the information received, last night, Sultanpur Lodhi’s famous shopkeeper Gurcharan Singh ‘Channa Deepu Wala’ son Jagir Singh resident of Mohalla Naiya Railway Road was mysteriously murdered. On receiving the information, SHO Hargurdev Singh of Sultanpur Lodhi Police Station reached the spot with the police party and started investigating the murder.
According to the information received, the person lived alone in his house, his death came to light in the morning when he did not open his shop near Chowk Chelya Wala in Taksali Mohalla. When his friend went to his house and saw, the body of Gurcharan Singh Chan was lying on the ground. Looking at the body, it seemed as if someone had murdered him and he had injuries, as there were blood stains on the floor. The police is investigating thoroughly from different angles. Sultanpur Lodhi DSP Babandeep Singh also reached the spot and assured to arrest the murderer soon.
