Murder cases on the rise in Tamil Nadu: R.P. Udayakumar
Tamil Nadu : Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Assembly RP Udayakumar said that murder incidents have increased in Tamil Nadu. He told reporters in Madurai on Tuesday: Whenever the DMK comes to power, power cuts, deteriorating law and order and price hikes will be at their peak. 7,000 people have been murdered since 2021. The murders are happening in such a horrific manner that they are more horrific than the scenes in the movies. People living alone are being targeted and killed. Three murders in Palladam and two in Erode were committed by the same gang. It was reported that the police have arrested them. However, in the next few days, an elderly woman living alone in a garden house in Paramathi Vellore in Namakkal district was stabbed to death. These incidents have frightened the public. This series of criminal incidents shows that criminals have no fear of the police under the DMK rule. Criminals are taking advantage of the government’s efforts to hide crimes. Tamil Nadu is becoming an unsafe state for the individual.
Similarly, drugs are being spread in different forms targeting young men and women. Sexual crimes against women are increasing day by day. A guard at a government service home sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl. He said people are ready to overthrow the DMK government.
