Mumbai: Trying to please voters by passing 35 and 171 decisions
Maharashtra: The unique policy of the Mahagathbandhan government’s dynamic state governance, such as decision first, government decision immediately issued, proposal approved later, is being discussed a lot in the ministry at this time. The government, which announced 56 decisions on Monday, tried to please voters from different sections of the society by passing 35 and 171 government decisions in the cabinet meeting on Friday. With the intention of winning the assembly elections again at any cost, the Mahagathbandhan government has been trying to please all sections of the society for the last few days. The government has taken a series of decisions like forming welfare corporations for different castes and religions, naming industrial training institutes across the state after the leaders of that department, giving concessions to different social groups, giving land.
Information about many of these decisions is given to the ministers in the cabinet meeting itself. Especially the information about the proposals coming to the cabinet is given to the ministers before the meeting. After that the proposal is discussed in the meeting and the cabinet approves it. However, sources said that a unique practice has started in the Vidhyaman government, in which often first the decision, then the government decision and finally the proposal for approval of the concerned departments like Finance, Planning, Law and Justice. The minutes of the decisions taken in today’s cabinet meeting were released immediately without waiting for approval.
