Mumbai: Shots fired from shop, jewelry worth Rs 11 lakh looted

Thane: Three masked men opened fire multiple times and looted jewellery worth over Rs 11 lakh from a shop in Kharghar area of ​​Navi Mumbai, a police official said on Monday. The incident took place at 10 pm on Sunday, an official from the Kharghar police station said. “Dressed in black and armed with revolvers, the three men barged into the shop, threatened the staff, attacked them and looted jewellery worth Rs 11.80 lakh. In three minutes, they fired four to five rounds of bullets, though no one was injured,” the official said. A video of the incident went viral on social media, in which the three men are seen fleeing on a motorcycle and people are trying to chase them. A case has been registered under the Indian Justice Code and Arms Act for robbery and other offences, the official said. Efforts are on to nab the three.
