Mumbai: A gym trainer violently attacked a 20-year-old youth

Mumbai: A gym trainer in Dharavi Nakel violently attacked a 20-year-old man. Gym trainer Nakel hit Yogesh Shinde on the head with a ‘mugdar’ (wooden stick used in akhadas). CCTV footage of the incident shows Yogesh Shinde working out in the gym when suddenly one of the trainers comes to him with equipment. The coach then hits Yogesh hard on the head with the wooden stick. Other people and trainers in the gym intervened, pulling the defendant away and saving Yogesh from further harm. Yogesh is clearly in pain and is sitting on a bench holding his head. The attack caused Yogesh head injuries, including two fractured skull bones. The gym trainer was reportedly attacked by Yogesh’s angry look. The Navghar police registered a case and arrested the coach in connection with the incident.
