Mulugu: Maoist party member surrenders before Mulugu SP

Mulugu: According to a note, Desilusionado, a Maoist ideologue and CPI (Maoist) party member Pulluru Nagaraju alias Jagath (25), hailing from Pragallapalli village in Vajidu mandal of the district, met SP Gausha Alam here on Saturday. Nagaraju was working as a medical assistant in a private hospital. Sudhakar, a divisional committee (DVCM) member and in-charge of Venkatapuram-Vajidu area committee, had allegedly brainwashed him to join the party PCI (Maoist) several months ago. On the pretext of solving his problem, Sudhakar called Nagaraj and informed him about the revolutionary ideology of the banned Maoist party. According to the SP, initially, he worked as a messenger in Sudhakar and sometimes supplied medicines and other essential items to the Maoist party. However, after joining the party, he became disillusioned with the Maoist ideology and reported that Maoist leaders were using innocent persons from the area to further their interests. Therefore, it was generally decided to resign and join the society. This year, a case was registered against him under various sections of the IPC, Section 8 (1) of the TSPS Act and Section 4 of the Explosive Substances Act by the Wajidu police. The entire society was united by adopting the government’s policy of surrender and rehabilitation.
