MP: The cabinet has approved ₹2508 crore for the 4-lane Barwah-Dhamnod road.

Madhya Pradesh: The cabinet has given administrative approval for Rs 2508.21 crore for the conversion of the two-lane Barwah-Dhamnod road into a four-lane highway with paved shoulders. The length of the road is 62.795 km. The approved cost includes land acquisition, upgrading, and construction.
Under this project, 10 bypasses, 5 major bridges, 23 medium bridges, and 56 medium junctions will be constructed.
Under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), 40% of the construction cost will be provided by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation from the State Highway Fund. The remaining 60% will come from the state budget as semi-annual annuity payments over 15 years during the operation period.
Meanwhile, the continuation of programs under Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 has been approved from 2026-27 to 2030-31.
