MP planted a tree in Education Hub Garanji

Narayanpur: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign by planting a Peepal tree at Buddha Jayanti Park, New Delhi on 5 June 2024.

Showing the similarity between Mother Earth for the nourishment of nature and our mothers for the nourishment of human life, Prime Minister Modi has called upon people around the world to plant a tree as a symbol of love, respect and respect for their mother and pledge to protect Mother Earth. Under this, on the occasion of Independence Day, Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh planted a tree in the education hub of the district Garanji and gave the message of planting trees to the people.

MP visited Shant Sarovar

Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh, the chief guest of the Independence Day celebrations, visited Shant Sarovar (Binjali Dam) located in village Binjali, about 05 km from the district headquarters. The construction of this dam was completed in 1978-79.

The length of the dam is 2130 meters and the water storage capacity is 4.15 million cubic meters, in which 1093 hectares are irrigated, out of which 810 hectares are Kharif and 283 hectares are Rabi crops. The length of the canal is 15.60 kilometers and includes 08 villages, in which 645 farmers of Khairabhat, Palki, Binjali, Telsi, Guria, Sulenga, Karlkha and Mahka are benefiting.
