MP: Administrative surgery of IPS officers in the new year

Madhya Pradesh: A transfer list for IPS officers may be released in the new year. The transfer list may be released after the promotion orders of IPS officers are issued. Thus, there is a chance of officers being transferred after the promotion orders are issued.

1994 batch IPS officer Ashutosh Rai will become Special Director General of Police (SG), and 2001 batch officer Pramod Verma will be promoted to ADG. Similarly, officers from the 2008 batch will be promoted to IG, and officers from 2010 to 2012 will be promoted to DIG. Special DG Pawan Srivastava is retiring on December 31st. The government will appoint an officer in his place.

The government is also considering replacing Transport Commissioner Vivek Sharma, who is going on study leave. The names of Indore Commissioner Santosh Singh and ADG (Ujjain) Division Umesh Joga are being discussed for the position Sharma currently holds.
