More than 100 children died due to flu in America

Los Angeles: According to data released by the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 100 children have died due to flu in America so far this season. Seasonal influenza has increased in some parts of the country, Xinhua news agency reported. The CDC estimates that at least 28 million people have become sick with the flu so far this season. More than 10,000 patients were hospitalized in the latest week ending March 2, according to the CDC.
