Monsoon may depart from Madhya Pradesh in a week, almost normal rainfall this season
Bhopal: South-west monsoon is now moving towards departure in Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is likely to begin withdrawal from the state within the next one week. This time almost normal rainfall has been recorded in the state during the monsoon season.
According to the Bhopal-based India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no possibility of heavy or very heavy rain in any part of the state in the coming four days. With the change in weather, sunshine will become brighter in many areas and rainfall activities will reduce.
Weather will remain clear in many districts
The Meteorological Department said that the weather is likely to remain clear in many parts of the state from Tuesday. Especially in many areas of Ujjain, Indore and Gwalior-Chambal division, strong sunlight can be seen.
Due to weakening of monsoon activity, the movement of clouds will reduce and a gradual increase in temperature can be felt.
Normal rainfall this season
The rainfall figures in Madhya Pradesh this monsoon season have been almost normal. In the initial phase, many areas received good rains, which benefited farmers and water resources.
Although, variation in the amount of rainfall was seen in some areas, but the performance of monsoon at the state level remained in the normal range.
No heavy rain alert
According to IMD, there is no possibility of heavy or very heavy rain anywhere in the state for the next four days. The Meteorological Department has not announced any major rain alert at present.
Due to less rain activities, now people are hopeful of getting relief from continuous rain. At the same time, farmers in rural areas are also keeping an eye on the changes in the weather.

The withdrawal of the south-west monsoon is a normal seasonal process. Monsoon gradually begins to withdraw from many parts of the country in late September and early October.
