Mohali: Three people injured in firing

Mohali: Three persons sustained gunshot injuries following an alleged land dispute in Rasanheri village of Kharar. Police said a land dispute was going on between a property dealer and an ex-serviceman and a clash broke out between the two groups yesterday, following which gunfire was exchanged. The victims were rushed to Phase 6 Civil Hospital from where they were referred to GMCH-32. A case has been registered at Kharar police station.

Trinity Institute, Zirakpur

Zirakpur: Dr Mohinder Kaushal of Trinity Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Zirakpur has been invited to contribute four chapters to the third edition of ‘Endoscopic Spine Surgery’. The work will be published by Thieme, led by Dr Daniel Kim, Professor, University of Texas, US, along with its eminent co-editors. Dr Kaushal’s contribution will focus on his ‘Arthrospine Duo UBE’ technique, which is known for its innovation in the field of spine surgery.
