Mohali: Student stabbed for protesting attack on woman

Mohali: An unknown person stabbed a B.P.Ed student of a private university in Kharar last night. Sahil, a resident of Haryana, suffered serious injuries in his stomach and chest and was taken to PGI. A case has been registered at Balongi police station.

Mohit has complained that Sahil is a national level tug of war player. They both were going on a bike when they saw a man beating a woman on the road. When both of them intervened, the attacker claimed that the woman was his wife. After this, an altercation took place and the attacker stabbed Sahil and fled from the spot.
