Mohali: Electricity and water supply stopped for 2 days, residents blocked Landran Road

Mohali: Residents of Ajit Enclave on Randhawa Road today blocked Landran Road near Bhuruwala Chowk to protest against the power and water supply disruption in their area for the past 48 hours.
The protesters, including women and children, came out and blocked the main road for over half an hour, leading to a traffic jam and long queues of vehicles on the road. They raised slogans against officials of PSPCL and district administration. Police reached the spot and tried to pacify the protesters. PSPCL officials were also called to the spot. Officials claimed that the residents faced inconvenience due to a problem in Khanpur grid.
