Mock Drill on Disaster Management Supervised by Commissioner and Tahsildar

 On the orders of Khammam District Collector Anudeep Durisetty, a mock drill exercise awareness program was organized in Edulapuram Municipality on Monday. The program, which was organized at the Ram Leela Function Hall on the bypass road within the municipality, was supervised by EMC Commissioner Alla Srinivas Reddy and Khammam Rural Tahsildar Ram Prasad. The programs to be undertaken by the officers and staff of the respective departments during a disaster were demonstrated in the form of a demo. As part of this, the officers of various departments along with their staff set up special stalls and provided services to the victims at the field level. The staff of the respective departments demonstrated the assistance provided to the victims after bringing them to the rehabilitation center in the event of floods and other threats. After bringing the victims, they were shown a demo of the arrangements for bedding, drinking water, food, medical care for those in need, and distribution of medicines.
