MLA Renuka Singh appealed to light 2 lamps outside the houses on 22 January
Manendragarh. Former Union Minister of State and Bharatpur Sonhat MLA Renuka Singh has appealed to the people of the state to light a lamp in the name of Kaushalya’s Ram and Chhattisgarh’s nephew Prabhu Shri Ram on the day of the inauguration of Ram Temple. Renuka Singh has written in her social media post that, from where Lord Shri Ram touched his feet in Chhattisgarh, during the exile, the first steps of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita in Chhattisgarh were in Bharatpur Sonhat Assembly and this land has become a sacred land.
I am fortunate that the people there blessed me. Renuka Singh has written that, crossing the Mawai river, Lord Shri Ram entered Chhattisgarh. I also spent my childhood playing in that river. Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. Lord Shri Ram spent 12 years in Chhattisgarh during his exile. He has urged the people of the state and his assembly constituency that the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya is not just the construction of a temple, but also a proclamation of awakening of national self-respect.
Along with the construction of a grand temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, India has to be made to stand in front of the world as a capable, powerful and prosperous India. To realize the vision of Ram Rajya, I urge all of you to light two lamps outside your house on 22 January, one in the name of Lord Shri Ram and one in the name of the nation.
