MLA Rai reviews canal repair work

Punjab: MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai today reviewed the repair work of Bhakra Canal at Chanarthal village in the district.

After cracks appeared in the canal, the Irrigation Department started the work. The residents had created a ruckus, fearing loss of life and property if the crack widened. The MLA expressed satisfaction over the ongoing work and assured the people that there was no need to fear.
