MLA arrived to see the lottery system of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Bhilai: Housing allotment was being done through lottery system from 11:00 am on Tuesday in the main office premises of Municipal Corporation Bhilai. Vaishalinagar MLA Rakesh Sen arrived unexpectedly to see the allotment process being done through lottery system. Beneficiaries had deposited 10 percent contribution amount. Those beneficiaries were participating in the draw for houses in their area. Everyone’s name was being called one by one, beneficiaries themselves were coming and taking out slips from the box with their own hands. Whoever was lucky to get a house slip, that was being given to him.

MLA Rakesh Sen said that Prime Minister’s scheme is very ambitious. Every poor should get a house and a permanent roof over his head. He thanked the Prime Minister for thinking closely about the poor. He said that all kinds of public welfare schemes like house to live, Ayushman card for treatment, ration card for ration, Mahtari Vandan Yojana for expenses of sisters, Social Security Pension Scheme for elderly, Prime Minister Vishwakarma Yojana for employed people etc. are being run for the welfare of citizens.

Out of a total of 1003 houses at the identified site in Municipal Corporation Bhilai, 43 houses of Khamhariya behind Krishna Engineering, 1 house of Avinash Metropolis, 18 houses of Anaar State Khamhariya, 4 houses near Mile Stone School, 1 house of Swapnil Builders Kurud and 1 house of Amrapali Vananchal City Housing Board have been allotted. In which ground floor houses have been allotted to senior citizens, handicapped and reserved beneficiaries. Beneficiaries can get houses soon by depositing their remaining 90 percent amount.
