MLA accused of bullying, only party leaders complained

Raipur. The Congressmen themselves have opened a front against Congress MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Gurudayal Banjare from Nawagarh. Nawagarh district president Anjali Markandeya and state Congress secretary along with the workers have complained against MLA Gurudayal Banjare to state in-charge Kumari Selja. Congress leaders have made a serious allegation on their MLA of bullying and doing anti-party work. Congressmen have demanded action against the MLA. Along with this, Congress leaders will also complain about the matter to the Chief Minister.

Anjali Markande wrote in her complaint letter that the Congress party had appointed the president of Nawagarh Janpad Panchayat as a Congress candidate. The work of Janpad Panchayat was going on smoothly for 3 years. But due to the ambition of regional MLA Gurdayal Singh Banjare, a no-confidence motion was brought against me on May 8, in which I got 9 votes with the help of the organization and the MLA camp got 15 votes, due to which my post of president was saved.

Displeasure was expressed between me and the MLA regarding the construction of the shop in the Janpad Panchayat. For the construction of the shop, the amount has also been deposited by Ritesh Sharma and Lakhan Singh, two close members of the MLA, and pressure is being put on me again and again regarding allotment of space and construction of the shop. On my refusal, a no-confidence motion was brought against me by provoking the members of the district. The MLA assured to give Rs 2 lakh each to the district members under the Chief Minister’s voluntary grant.
