Missing girl rescued, accused who kidnapped her arrested
Raigarh raigarh news. The girl who was missing from the police station area has been recovered from her village by Gharghoda Police. In her statement, the girl said that the accused Sanjay Raikwar alias Sanjay Kewat, a resident of Tikamgarh district (MP) had lured her and took her from Gharghoda to Raigarh and from Raigarh to Ghaziabad.
Missing Girl The missing girl was reported by her mother on 27.08.2023 by giving an application in Gharghoda police station. The girl’s mother told that her daughter had gone somewhere without telling on the morning of 26.08.2023. On the application, a case number 375/2023 under section 363 IPC was registered against the unknown accused in Gharghoda police station and investigation was taken up. chhattisgarh news On June 17, the girl was recovered and her statement was recorded by a female officer in which the girl told that in the year 2022 she lived with her parents in Ghaziabad, after the death of her father, she came to the village with her mother. She had met Sanjay Raikwar in Ghaziabad, both used to talk on mobile, Sanjay had talked about marriage. On 26.08.2023, Sanjay had come to meet her in Gharghoda, whom she went to meet. Sanjay took her from Gharghoda to Raigarh by bus and from Raigarh by train to Ghaziabad, where he kept her in a rented house in Ghaziabad like his wife and forcibly had physical relations with her. Sanjay Raikwar did not marry her despite repeated requests to marry her and on 11.05.2024, without informing, he went to his village Ishwan from the rented house and when contacted on mobile, he clearly refused saying that he would not marry. Based on the statement of the victim and medical treatment by a female doctor, sections 366, 376 (2) (d) IPC and 4, 6 POCSO Act were extended in the case.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, after obtaining permission from the Superintendent of Police, the Gharghoda police team immediately left for Tikamgarh to trace and arrest the accused and the accused Sanjay Raikwar alias Sanjay Kewat father Kishori Raikwar age 19 years resident of Ward No. 07 Ishan Police Station Gidhauri District Tikamgarh (MP) was taken into custody from his residence and brought to Raigarh, who was duly arrested and sent on judicial remand.
