Minor girl dies after falling into septic tank in Rourkela

Rourkela: In a tragic incident a minor girl died after falling into an open septic tank in Sundergarh district of Odisha yesterday night. The unfortunate incident took place near the Hockey Stadium in Chhend area of Rourkela.

As per reports, the girl was playing along with her friends near the Hockey Stadium in Chhend of Rourkela on Wednesday evening when somehow she fell into the tank.

It is suspected that the girl fell into the septic tank as there was no cover on the tank.

After getting information about the incident, Chhend police reached the spot and recovered the body of the girl.

Further investigation of the case is underway.
