Minister Vikramaditya Singh confirmed participation in Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha
Shimla: Himachal Pradesh minister and son of former state chief minister Virbhadra Singh Vikramaditya Singh has confirmed that he will attend the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. , He is honored to receive the invitation to the ceremony and feels fortunate to be among the 6,000 invitees from across the country.
He said that his mother Pratibha Virbhadra Singh has also received an invitation for this. He said that this is a moment of pride and it has nothing to do with politics.
“I would like to thank the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust for sending me the invitation to the Pran Pratistha ceremony; I received the invitation through RSS. As I have said this is not a personal invitation, it is to recognize the contribution of my father Shri Virbhadra Singh ji to the Hindu religion and the gods and goddesses in the state, Vikramaditya Singh said.
He said that during his father’s reign, the state government had spent crores of rupees for the development of temples. Vikramaditya Singh said,
“Himachal was the first state in the country where they brought a law against religious conversion.
I think this invitation is a tribute to my father to honor his contributions.
This has nothing to do with politics.” He said it was an honor for him to get the opportunity to witness the “historic moment” of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple. “As a Sanatani it is a proud moment to participate in this. Yes, my mother Pratibha Singh, who is a Member of Parliament, has also received the invitation. I have decided that I will go there. I have said that as a Hindu it is one.” It is a proud moment for me that I am among the 6,000 people invited from across the country. I will be present there on this historic day,” Singh further said.
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is to be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22.
