Minister Lokesh: Quantum Valley will become a hub of more than one lakh skilled jobs

Andhra Pradesh : In line with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s vision, IT Minister Nara Lokesh has assured that Amaravati will be put on the world’s quantum computing map. ‘In the coming years, Andhra Pradesh is going to become the intellectual capital of the world’s quantum goals. We will create over one lakh skilled jobs and promote 50 unicorns through the Amaravati Quantum Valley. We will provide PhDs, fellowships and internships,’ he said. Speaking as part of the Quantum Valley workshop, Minister Lokesh said, ‘It is not just about setting up technology in Amaravati. We are building human capital that will shape the future. We will make Andhra Pradesh a launchpad for innovators and startups. We need world-class leaders and investors to be partners in this.’ Lokesh said, “We are working with global partners on the National Quantum Mission announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We will develop the quantum startup ecosystem in collaboration with leading companies like IBM, TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra and others. Amaravati is going to be the Quantum Valley Centre for the 156-qubit IBM Quantum System-2. We should be the guide for the world in this journey.”
