Military officers meet Chief Minister Sai

Raipur. Chhattisgarh is a very beautiful state and its natural beauty, cultural heritage and rich biodiversity give it a special identity. A group of 18 military and civil service officers from the National Defense College met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence today after visiting Chhattisgarh and shared their experiences. The Chief Minister eagerly discussed with all the military officers about their visit to Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai gave a warm welcome to all the officers and discussed in detail the geographical features, cultural heritage and development journey of the state. Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh is unique not only geographically but also culturally and historically. 44 percent of the state’s land is covered with forests, and the rich cultural tradition of tribal communities is an integral part of our heritage. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the beauty of Chhattisgarh is unique. The journey you have undertaken is not just an experience of natural scenery, but also a journey linked to a vibrant culture and history. This experience will always be etched in your memories.
Giving detailed information on the efforts being made to eradicate Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has achieved remarkable success in the direction of Naxal eradication. We are solving this problem not only from the security point of view but also through education, infrastructure and economic opportunities. He also said that in Chhattisgarh we have paid equal attention to the upliftment of rural and tribal communities along with industrial and urban development. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government’s effort is to make Chhattisgarh an example of self-reliance, innovation and excellent governance. The officials of the National Defense College told the Chief Minister that during their stay they observed IIM Raipur, Integrated Command Control Center, Green Field City and Smart City projects. Apart from this, he discussed with the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police regarding law and order and Naxal eradication campaign. The officials visited Sirpur, Education City Dantewada, Kanker Wood Art Center, Jungle Warfare College, Tatamari and Shilpgram of Kondagaon, Badal Academy and Chitrakote Waterfall.
Admiral Sandeep Singh Sandhu, who is leading the team, said that the National Defence College conducts a one-year course every year, in which military, civil service and international defence officers are trained on strategic subjects. This year 124 officers are participating in this course, including 13 Indian and 5 officers from other countries who have come on a tour to understand the cultural and administrative structure of Chhattisgarh.
