Mehboobabad: Seventeen women injured in a horrific road accident

Mahabubabad: Seventeen women were injured, five of them critical, in a horrific road accident near Peddanagaram village in Narasimhulpeta village on Friday morning. The injured have been admitted to a hospital, of which five are said to be critical while eight others have suffered very serious injuries. Others have minor but bleeding injuries. The victims were all daily wage labourers from Cherlapalem and Fatehpuram villages and were travelling in an autorickshaw to harvest chillies. Detailed information is awaited.
