Meet Bharat Jain, who used to beg at streets, now is a crorepati

Mumbai: There is a man who has spent over four decades as a beggar and has amassed a whopping Rs. 7.5 crore. And remarkably, he still earns Rs. 60,000-Rs. 75,000 every month. Meet Bharat Jain, the beggar-turned-millionaire who broke the social norm.

The amount Jain earns in a day varies between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 2,500, reflecting his strength and smart strategy. He spends 10-12 hours a day without taking break begging from passersby at different places. He can be seen begging at some of the city’s busiest locations, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Azad Maidan.

Reportedly, Jain’s sharp financial sense goes beyond the begging income. He has done some smart investments in purchasing two apartments in Mumbai valued at Rs. 1.4 crore. He also owns two shops in Thane, and the rental income is about Rs. 30,000 per month.

Jain’s financial stability has became a huge benefit to his family. His two sons, who studied in a prominent convent school, have graduated and are now contributing to the family’s stationery business.

Despite his disapproving family, Jain pleads and explains that he wants to be a beggar because he likes the occupation. His story is a quite inspiring story in which success can be garnered through unusual ways, hence financial stability built with determination along with wise financial decisions.
