Medak: Farmer found murdered in agriculture field in Medak

Medak: A farmer was murdered in Lakshmapur Village of Ramayampet mandal on Thursday morning. The deceased was identified as Ragula Ashok (47). He is suspected to have been attacked with a sharp weapon on his head. Ashok had gone to his field to do some work on Thursday morning. A few hours later, neighbouring farmers found him lying in a pool of blood. Following a complaint from family members, Ramayampet police along with dog squad and forensic team reached the spot to collect evidence. Family members suspect that the attack was the handiwork of another farmer family with whom Ashok had been having a land dispute for some time. The body was taken to the regional hospital in Ramayampet. A case has been registered and investigations are underway. Ashok is survived by his wife and two children.
