Medak: Constable dies in accident after dog jumps across road

Medak: In a tragic incident, a constable died in a road accident at Kuchanpalli in Havelighanpur Mandal on Wednesday. Banothu Durgapati (50), a resident of Faridapur Thanda in Havelighanpur Mandal, was posted at Medak Town Police Station. He was going to duty on his bike when a dog jumped on the road. He slipped from the bike and got seriously injured. Durgapati died while being taken to a hospital in Medak. The Havelighanpur police have registered a case. The body has been taken to the Government Hospital in Medak for post-mortem. He is survived by his wife and two children.
