Mathura: In Kosikalan, Mathura, a young man calling himself Mahant raped a girl in a car by giving her intoxicating prasad and physically exploited her for two years while blackmailing her by making obscene videos.
Bahin police station of Palwal district of Haryana registered a case on the orders of the court, but even after two months the accused is out of custody. The accused calls himself the Mahant of Kokilavan Dham. Due to which the police has not been able to arrest him yet.
According to Bahin police station, the girl, resident of a sector of Delhi, has said in the application given in the court that due to some problem at home, she had gone to Shanidham located in Kokilavan for darshan. There he met a young man named Jankidas, the disciple of a Mahant, who consoled him by calling himself the Mahant of Shanidev Temple and said that all sorrows go away by having faith in the devotion of God.
It is alleged that on June 18, 2021, Jankidas took Sanju along with driver Sanju in his car on the pretext of taking him to see Mata situated in Bahin village, but when the vehicle reached Hodal-Nuh road, the driver diverted the vehicle towards Lohina village. . When the girl asked, the Mahant said that this is the way to Bahin village. After walking a little further, Mahant Jankidas gave him sweets as Prasad to eat. After eating which she became unconscious and raped her. Made obscene photos and videos. If he protested, he threatened to kill him. He continued raping her for two years.
It is alleged that the complaint was given to the police station, but when no action was taken, they took refuge in the court. On the orders of the court, on February 17, Bahin police station registered a report against the accused Mahant Jankidas and his driver Sanju, but have not made any arrests yet. DSP Suresh Bhadana says that the matter is under investigation. The accused will be arrested after the investigation is completed.
