Maruti Suzuki hikes price of popular car models including Fronx and Ertiga in India
Maruti Suzuki has hiked the prices of some popular car models in India and this includes Fronx and Ertiga. The other models are WagonR and XL6 and the price hike goes up to Rs 14,000. The safety features in WagonR has been updated recently.

Maruti Ertiga
The Maruti Ertiga gets a price hike of Rs 13,000 across the models. Post the price hike, the range of the MPV starts at Rs 8.97 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.96 lakh. The MUV is one of the most selling MPV with sold in India and is offered in 7 seats (3 rows). It is offered in petrol as well as CNG fuel options.
Maruti XL6
This MUV can be considered as a premium version of the Maruti Ertiga. It is offered in petrol and CNG fuel options and gets 6 seats (captain seats). The price hike of XL6 is same as Ertiga i.e. Rs 13,000.
Post the price hike, the Maruti XL6 costs between Rs 11.84 lakh and Rs 14.84 lakh.
Maruti Fronx
Unlike the Ertiga/ XL6, the Maruti Fronx gets very less price hike. Variants of the Maruti Fronx get a price hike of Rs 2000/ Rs 3000. The car costs between Rs 7.54 lakh and Rs 12.90 lakh after the price hike.
The Maruti Fronx is based on the Baleno but offers a sharper and muscular look.
Maruti Wagon R
The Maruti Wagon R gets a price hike of Rs 14,000 and now costs between Rs 5.79 lakh and Rs 7.50 lakh. The hatchback gets an update in the form of 6-airbags as standard. It is offered in petrol and CNG fuel options.
