Manoj Bajpayee breaks silence on ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 3’

Gangs of Wasseypur 3: The film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, directed by Anurag Kashyap, has been seen successfully entertaining the audience with its two parts. This homegrown crime saga has been appreciated globally. The movie made it to the Cannes Film Festival in the year 2012, and was the only Hindi language film to achieve this feat at that time. After two successful parts, there were rumors that the work on its third installment would continue. However, now sad news has come to the fore for the fans waiting for it.
Manoj Bajpayee, the lead star of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ has shocked the fans by breaking his silence on its third installment. Manoj Bajpayee has clarified that Sardar Khan will not be coming on the big screen with ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 3’. His fans have become very sad due to this statement of Manoj. However, the actor expressed happiness on being a part of this cult film.
Manoj Bajpayee said, ‘I have been very fortunate to be a part of three to five cult films in my career. Gangs of Wasseypur is one of them. People are still showering so much love and making memes on Sardar Khan. I am feeling overwhelmed, but some memes are also quite embarrassing.
While talking about Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s journey as an actor, Manoj Bajpayee said, ‘Look, I am very proud of Nawaz’s journey. He is a unique actor. He is someone who has traveled far and wide, and he deserves every bit of it. The only person I admire from afar is me, and I always cheer and clap. Whatever he does, whatever he has today, whatever he is achieving – he deserves every bit of it.
On the work front, Manoj Bajpayee will soon be seen in a courtroom drama film titled ‘Sirf Ek Banda Hai’. The film, which is inspired by real events, seems to be embroiled in a legal tussle even before its release. Directed by Apoorva Singh Karky, the film will premiere on May 23 on ZEE5.
