Man who sexually assaulted minor girl in Dombivli arrested from UP

Maharashtra: In October last year, 32-year-old Isma forcibly sexually assaulted a minor girl in the limits of Manpada police station in Dombivali by giving her dirty medicine in sweets. After this incident, Isma fled to his native village in Uttar Pradesh. In a joint operation of Uttar Pradesh Police and Manpada Police, Isma was arrested from Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

In this sexual assault case, a case was registered at Manpada police station on the complaint of the victim’s family. According to the information given by Manpada police, the victim girl and the case registered Isma are residents of Uttar Pradesh. They used to live together in Dombivali. They knew each other. Both used to work as garbage pickers. Isma told the minor girl, ‘You like me. He started doing wrong things with her since October and started saying, “Marry me or else I will kidnap you.” Once when the girl was alone at home, he mixed the gungi medicine in the sweet and gave it to her to eat. When the girl lost her temper, he sexually assaulted her. Isam was threatening to kill you and your brother if you tell anyone about this misdeed. When this kind of talk became unbearable, the victim lodged a complaint against Isam at Manpada police station. The police had registered a case under the Child Sexual Abuse Act.

After the sexual assault, Isam fled to his native village. Manpada police were looking for him. It was not available. Last week, Manpada police received information that Isam had come to Mulgaon Kapilvastu in Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The police immediately informed the Uttar Pradesh police about this. Isam was arrested by Shitafi from Marwatia Kurmi village under the supervision of a special team of Uttar Pradesh police. This information was given to Manpada police. A team of Manpada police went to Uttar Pradesh and arrested Isam. Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kadabane said that he has been brought to Manpada police station for questioning.
