Man slits woman throat inside Bengaluru PG hostel

Bengaluru: In a very shocking incident, a 22-year-old woman was found dead with her throat slit at a paying guest accomodation in Koramangala in Bengaluru.

The deceased has been identified as Kriti Kumari, a resident of Bihar. She was working in a private company. She was staying in the VR Layout area of Koramangala.

According to sources, the suspect, broke into the hostel premises at around 11.10 pm to 11.30 pm on Tuesday with a knife. He then attacked Kriti at her room located in the third floor, killing her on the spot.

On being informed about the incident, Koramangala police, along with South East Division DCP Sara Fatima, rushed to the spot and have started a probe into the matter.

The police authorities are scanning the CCTV footage in the area to identify the attacker and they have launched efforts to nab the accused.
