Man Married 3 Times in 3 Years, Arrested for Dowry Harassment in Bihar

Patna: A man married three times in three years. His first and second wives filed a police complaint against him for dowry harassment and domestic violence. In this context, the man was arrested. However, he, who is living with his third wife, made several allegations against his first and second wives. (Man Married 3 Times) This incident took place in Gopalganj district of Bihar. A man named Pintu Barnwal married three women in three years. His first marriage was to Khushboo Kumari on December 2, 2022. She left for her native place a few days after the marriage due to allegations of dowry harassment and domestic violence.

Meanwhile, Pintu married Gudiya Kumari for the second time on April 18, 2024. She alleged that he cheated on her and left her after having a child. Gudiya said that she came to know about Pintu’s first marriage through villagers. He was arrested after a complaint was filed with the police, and was later released on bail.

On the other hand, Pintu married another woman for the third time this year. He had a child with her. However, they came to know that he married a third time without divorcing his first and second wives. In this context, Khushboo and Gudiya filed a complaint with the police. They alleged that he had harassed them for dowry and physically tortured them.

Meanwhile, he denied the allegations of his first and second wives. He said that he had to marry three times because of his family situation. He alleged that his first wife, Khushboo, was ten years older than him and tried to stab his mother to death. “My mother is 60 years old. Neither of them cooked food for two days. Instead, my mother and I cooked for them,” he said. He said that his third wife does not cause any trouble and takes good care of them.

However, the police responded to the complaints of his first wife Khushboo Kumari and second wife Gudiya Kumari. Pintu was arrested and produced in court. He was remanded and sent to jail.
