Man kills 5-year-old son for 2nd marriage in Jajpur dist: Father, other 4 of family arrested
Jajpur: In the gruesome murder case of a 5-year-old child by his own biological father for 2nd marriage in Jajpur district of Odisha earlier this week, the father along with 4 other family members have been arrested today.
As per reports, the body of the 5-year-old child had been recovered from the stone quarry near Chargoth village under Jenapur Police Station limits in Jajpur district 2 days ago.
The Jenapur police had been investigating the incident based on the complaint of the deceased minor’s family and the villagers.
Following allegations that Bauribandhu Rout of the village kidnapped, killed and dumped his 5-year-old son due to a family dispute, the police had detained him and 4 members of his family at the police station and conducted an investigation.
Today, Jenapur Police of Jajpur district arrested and produced 5 accused persons including father of the deceased child for their criminal involvement in the case.
