Major fire breaks out at Paradip Nehru Bungalow fishing harbor, 10 fishing boats gutted

Paradip: As many as 10 fishing boats were gutted after a major fire broke out at Nehru Bungalow fishing harbor in Paradip of Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district on Thursday evening.

Initially, one of the fishing boats parked at Nehru Bungalow fishing harbor in Paradip caught fire due to some unknown reasons, informed sources adding that the fire spread to other boats within no time as the boats had huge quantity of diesel.

On being informed, a total of eight fire services team and police personnel from five police stations rushed to the spot and are making all efforts to douse the inferno.
