Major accident in Secunderabad, two killed as truck drags bike

Bulandshahr: A tragic road accident occurred on National Highway 34 in the Sikandrabad area of the district on Friday. A speeding truck hit two young men riding a bike near Jat Chowk. The accident was so severe that the bike was dragged along with the truck for a considerable distance. The friction caused the truck to catch fire, causing panic at the scene.
According to eyewitnesses, the collision between the truck and the bike was so severe that both young men were thrown onto the road. Both died on the spot due to serious injuries. Following the accident, traffic on the highway was disrupted for some time, and a long queue of vehicles formed.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Sikandrabad police station and the fire department immediately arrived at the scene. Firefighters worked tirelessly to control the fire in the truck. Police removed the injured vehicles from the road and restored traffic.
Police took possession of the bodies of the two deceased and sent them to the district hospital for post-mortem. According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Kushalpal, son of Bijendra, and Shobhit, son of Ratan Singh. Both youths are residents of Atrauli, Aligarh district.
Upon learning of the accident, the family members rushed to the scene. The family was devastated by the loss of their loved ones. The family was inconsolable. The police consoled them and initiated further action in the case.
The Sikandrabad police station in-charge stated that the cause of the accident is being investigated. Police have seized the truck and are collecting necessary evidence from the scene. Based on the preliminary investigation, efforts are being made to determine whether the accident was caused by speeding, driver negligence, or some other reason.
Police officials say that further legal action will be taken based on whatever facts emerge from the investigation. If negligence or fault is found in the accident, strict action will be taken against the person involved as per the law.
Following the accident, local residents have expressed concern about the increasing number of road accidents on the highway. People say that accidents are occurring daily due to speeding vehicles and disregard for traffic rules. They have demanded from the administration that speed control, regular checking, and strict enforcement of traffic rules be implemented on the highway to prevent such accidents in the future.
The police have appealed to the public to exercise caution while driving, avoid speeding, and follow traffic rules. Officials say that both awareness and strictness regarding road safety are necessary to reduce accidents.
