Mahasamund: Youth workers of the city distributed buttermilk and cold juice

Mahasamund: Mahasamund. The members of Mahasamund Maa Mahamaya Yuva Samiti today worked to provide relief to the people amidst the rising heat and hot winds and extreme temperatures in the city. The mercury has reached 45 degrees, people are troubled by the heat. To provide relief to the people from the rising heat, youth workers of voluntary, social and religious organizations of the city distributed sherbet, juice, buttermilk, banana biscuits along with cold water in the city’s orphanage, old age home, bus stand, squares and roads and provided relief to the common people. Also, the city residents were advised that the temperature reached 46 degrees Celsius at 1:30 in the afternoon, so the people should stay indoors and keep consuming liquids.
