Maharashtra’s Thane: Man murdered wife and two children with cricket bat
Thane: A man allegedly killed his wife and two children with a cricket bat in Thane, Maharashtra. Police gave this information on Thursday.
According to the police, the incident took place in Kasarvadavali village of Thane and the accused has been identified as Amit Dharamvir Bagri, who is currently absconding.
Officials said that the accused was a habitual drinker, due to which he often had disputes with his wife. Fed up with Amit’s behaviour, his wife left the house with her children and took shelter at a relative’s house.

Vikas returned home around 11:30 in the morning and found the mother and her two children dead. A wooden cricket bat was found near their bodies, after which they informed the police.
On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Thane DCP Amar Jadhav said that a case has been registered against the accused and efforts are on to trace and arrest him.
