Loot of 10 lakhs, miscreants raided teacher’s house
Janjgir Champa. In Akaltara Nagar of Janjgir Champa district, more than 5 people have carried out the robbery incident on Saturday night. The miscreants took him hostage and beat him up. After which they ran away with the cash and gold and silver kept in the cupboard of the house. On getting information about the incident, Akaltara police has reached the spot. Along with the dog squad, the police is also taking the help of finger print experts. The whole matter is of Akaltara police station area.
Unidentified people entered the house of Kishore Dewangan, a teacher living in Ward 5 Guru Ghasidas Nagar of Akaltara, on Saturday night. These people locked Kishore Devangan’s room from outside and took the elderly mother hostage at knife point. Also thrashed the old man. After which they searched the almirah of the house and absconded with one and a half lakh rupees in cash along with gold and silver ornaments kept in the almirah.
According to the victim, “The accused were more than 5 and reached the mother’s room by breaking the lock of the door at 3 o’clock in the night. The son who was sleeping in the other room was locked. The accused entered the house from the back side. Mother Took hostage and carried out the robbery at knife point. Looted Rs 1.5 lakh in cash and gold and silver jewelery kept in the house worth Rs 10 lakh.”
