Lokesh called for countering the YSRC’s propaganda.

Vijayawada: Stating that threats, coercion, and arbitrariness are against the ideology of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Education Minister Nara Lokesh said on Thursday that the party would adopt a people-centric approach based on service and accountability.
Addressing TDP ministers during breakfast at the Chief Minister’s camp office, Lokesh emphasized that the party would not adopt the “Rappa Rappa” (bullying) style associated with the YSR Congress Party. He clarified that threatening people, instilling fear, and engaging in intimidation tactics are not part of the TDP’s political culture.
He said that respecting the people’s mandate should be the government’s primary agenda. The policy of the alliance government was to strike a balance between development and welfare so that tangible benefits reach the people. He urged party leaders to remain united and effectively counter the YSRC’s “false propaganda and conspiracies” at the constituency level by citing facts.
Lokesh asked the ministers to take personal responsibility for resolving people’s grievances raised on the Praja Vedika platform and to actively address petitions related to their respective departments. Calling for strengthening the party, he appealed to the ministers in charge to keep the party cadre united and further consolidate the TDP’s strength at all levels.
